Dispatch -- ELECTIONS!
Tomorrow we celebrate past wins, and plan for more wins
Worth Fighting For Wisconsin monthly meeting
7PM (virtual) Monday April 13. Register at https://bit.ly/WFFWiMonthly
Tomorrow we will celebrate the “progressive blowout” that happened in Wisconsin on April 7. We will also celebrate that democracy had a win on the world stage today: Trump ally Viktor Orbán conceded to Magyar’s Tisza after projections show the opposition winning a two-thirds majority. Oh my, another blowout. Guess the Hungarians don’t like Donald Trump and his buddies any more than we do.
What does all this mean for the Wisconsin’s fall 2026 elections? Attend our monthly meeting and find out.
We will hear from Wisconsin folks in the know. Our own Nancy Kaplan (Grassroots North Shore co-chair / WFFWi Steering Committee) will kick off the evening with a recap of the April 7 election. Then we will talk about Wisconsin’s state house races. We will hear from WI State Senator Jodi Habush-Sinykin (stepping in for Senate Democratic Leader Dianne Hesselbein who had a last minute conflict) and Greta Neubauer (Assembly Democratic Leader). Our good friend (and former WISDems chair) Ben Wikler will bring it all home with a discussion of the governor’s race and why elections matter!
