Dispatch: We continue the fight
As Memorial Day comes to an end...
And so we leave Memorial Day behind and begin the approach to what will be a most remarkable July 4th: on the 250th anniversary of the day America’s colonists rejected a king, there will be a tyrant and wannabe king occupying our White House. That thought prompts a Stoic Memorial Day read, and today’s musical offering. But before you get there, two events to highlight:

On May 17, Grassroots North Shore (GRNS) presented a fast-paced and engaging governor candidate forum to a packed auditorium at Nicolet High School. All seven Democratic candidates participated. The audience learned, among other things, that we have a wealth of talent among the Democrats. A recording of the entire event is posted on GRNS’s YouTube channel, and Metro Milwaukee news covered the event.
