Reminder: No WFFWi meeting August 10
On August 10, some of you will be heading to bed early to get a good night’s sleep before you go to work the polls at the crack of dawn August 11. Others will be out knocking doors for your favorite candidate. The rest of us will find something to do that evening.
Whatever you do, make sure you vote before 8PM on the 11th! You can find your polling information at https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/.

Primary Season closes August 11; Unity Season opens August 12
Whether we are pleased, displeased, or indifferent to the results of this tumultuous gubernatorial primary, on August 12 we must come together to stand with and behind whoever the winner may be.
Consider these points (adapted from Wisconsin Dems):
Democrats across the board are focused on delivering solutions for the affordability crisis and high healthcare costs and are strongly united against MAGA extremism.
When voters choose their Democratic nominee, we rally behind them and help them win in November.
Unlike in the Republican primary, where the sole nominee was hand picked Donald Trump, the Democratic nominee will enter the general election having run a tough race, which will make them stronger.
August 12 is an opportunity for us to start to focus on the real problem in this race to the Governor’s mansion: Tom Tiffany. Grassroots North Shore created a great list of reasons why TOM TIFFANY is not one of us and he is NOT FOR US. It’s worth reading and sharing with others.
